Show Trump He Has A Fight On His Hands
On Trump’s Inauguration Day he’ll claim that he won a mandate in one of the biggest election landslides in history.
Like almost everything else that oozes from his piehole that will be a lie. While his victory in the electoral college was impressive, what matters about a mandate from THE PEOPLE is the popular vote.
According to the Cook Political Report’s ongoing vote tracker, Trump won 49.80 percent of the popular vote. Harris won 48.33. (You can check below to see if that changes over time).

I doubt Trump’s much of a math guy, but by my calculations, that means Trump is .20 below winning a popular mandate from the people. True, he beat Harris by 1.47%, and so he is legitimately the prez, but that is NOT a landslide or much of a mandate.
Those facts won’t matter to Trump, his Republican sycophants, or his MAGA faithful because they are, you know, facts.
And inconvenient facts at that.
But those facts should matter to you, the rest of the American people, and the world.
I’m going to write them in sidewalk chalk on my driveway.
Trump Day 1 will be a shitshow. He’s going to launch a shock and awe, full bore, all out attack on immigrants, the environment, the civil service, the LGBTQ+ community, and just democracy in general.

The time to resist is NOW. Ok, ok, it really was election day, but we’re here NOW so NOW is when to resist.
A Harris sign in your yard would be a simple first step.
Imagine the effect it would have if all Harris supporters got out their old signs and put them up on Trump’s Inauguration Day. What a message it would send to MAGA that they have a fight on their hands.
And boy would it piss off Donnie Boy!
I know we will not see millions of Harris signs across the nation. I expect that in my neighborhood, which had a fair number of Harris supporters, that mine will probably be the only one on the block. (Really ours because my wife is fully on board.) But since we live across the street from a High School, and right where people pull up to pick up their kids, our sign will be seen by 500 people or more. Maybe I can piss off a few MAGAs and give hope to those who are literally afraid of Trump’s return, like the immigrant kids at the school.
